Well, the markets offer tooling leather products in various thicknesses for appropriate use in different projects. How Is Tooling Leather Prepared? The veg tan leather is moistened with water in a process called casing that helps in its swelling and softening. One uses a damp sponge to rub on the flesh side first and then on the grainy side. As evenly applied, water helps moisten leather for getting worked upon. When only soft, leather gets impressed with stamps and tools. If the work is not complete, then leather needs another bout of remoistening. The tanning process that uses natural tannins determines the color of leather, which could vary between distinctive light to deep colors of natural earthy tones, eman
